Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum is known for playing life difficult for his opponents and apparently does not make exceptions for his son Deuce.
Most NBA fans are accustomed to seeing Tatum’s four-year old son, as he tends to spend large amounts of time at Celtics games and in the locker room with his father. They may not however be used to seeing Deuce have his jump shot swatted away in emphatic fashion.
Anyone who was in attendance at the youth basketball camp Tatum was hosting at his former high school, Chaminade College Preparatory school in St. Louis, Missouri got a front row seat to see just that.

Many of the campers could be seen laughing after Tatum swatted his son’s shot the way the Golden State Warriors swatted Tatum’s hopes of winning the 2022 NBA Finals.
The Celtics have made sure to add more talent around Tatum and his Eastern Conference Finals winning teammates in this offseason in the form of former Indian Pacers point guard Malcolm Brogdon and ex-Atlanta Hawks forward Danilo Gallinari.
‘What kind of competitor would I be if I said no?’ Tatum said in an interview to NBC on Thursday when asked about his team’s title chances.

‘I always believe in myself and believe in my teammates.
‘Obviously we got close, got to Game 6 and we didn’t make it happen, so this offseason, everything is just about getting back to that point and getting over the hump.
‘Obviously we added two great pieces that I feel make us a lot better and complement our team extremely well.’
Tatum averaged 26.9 points, eight rebounds, and 4.4 assists last season and the 24-year-old forward will likely look to build on these numbers while his team once again chase a championship.
Boston has also been connected with trade rumors for Brooklyn Nets superstar Kevin Durant but reports have suggested it’s unlikely the Nets star is traded.
