Boston Celtics fans celebrated in a manner befitting the C’s stunning 104-103 win to force a Game 7 in the Eastern Conference Finals.
The Massachusetts franchise was one-tenth of a second away from exiting the NBA playoffs and now sits just four quarters away from becoming the first team in Association history to win a series after trailing 0-3.
Celtics fans celebrated all over the city, with some of the fans celebrating on Causeway St, adjacent to the team’s arena, TD Garden.
One man was seen climbing a traffic light pole, while others honked, danced and shouted jubilantly from lower ground.
They were especially thrilled by Derrick White, who tipped with 0.1 seconds left, as Boston trailed 103-102.

Star guard Jayson Tatum expressed his delight at his return to Beantown and their subsequent reaction before and during the game, which will decide the East’s representative in the NBA Finals.
“I’ve never been so excited to go back to Boston in my life,” Tatum said at his post-game press conference.
“And I can’t wait to see all the fans on Monday because it’s going to be fun.”
