The Boston Celtics have become the first team in NBA history to reverse a 3-0 deficit after forcing a Game 7 with a 104-103 victory over the Miami Heat in the Western Conference Finals.
Celtics wings Jayson Tatum and Jaylen Brown combined for 57 points in Saturday night’s Game 6 at Kaseya Center in downtown Miami. The Heat have yet to beat Boston since coming out victorious in the first three games of the series.
In the first half, the Celtics limited the Heat to just 7 of 27 shots in the paint, with star forward Jimmy Butler limited to nine points at halftime and into the fourth quarter.
By the end of the game, Jimmy ‘Buckets’ had 24 points, converting all three free throws on a foul of three-point fury with less than 10 seconds of the game left.
Celtics guard Marcus Smart blasted lights from behind the arch in the first hall, converting all three of his three-point attempts. Overall, he was 6 of 9 from the field and finished the night with 17 points (4 of 11 from behind the arc).

For Miami, the core duo of Butler and star center Bam Adebayo struggled to be as effective as they have been this postseason, converting 7 of 35, resulting in 22 points combined.
