Her post was a hit with fans and generated thousands of comments of support and praise for the My Heart Will Go On singer, as she got candid about her feelings entering a new year.
“Your triumph was such a big part of the light of 2024. A way to claim what’s yours, Songbird. You did. You are. So we can and will continue. Who are we all here for, if not for each other?’ wrote on.
Another fan said, “I’m ending this year very happy and with a grateful heart because I’ve seen you win every day and make history again. I love you Celine!’
In December 2022, the singer announced that she had been diagnosed with a serious neurological condition called Stiff Person Syndrome.
The rare condition has side effects that present as muscle spasms and can affect her singing ability.
According to Johns Hopkins Medicine, the disease affects one to three per million people and eventually leaves patients as “human statues” as the body gradually becomes locked into rigid positions, leaving patients unable to walk or talk.
The star previously described the condition to NBC News as feeling like “someone is choking you,” noting the severe muscle spasms and stiffness the condition causes.
Despite the All by Myself singer’s obstacles, she remains committed to finding her way back to performing: she undergoes rigorous physical and vocal therapy five days a week.

At the time, the star took to Instagram to address fans in a tearful Instagram post in which she revealed the terminal illness would postpone her European tour at the time.
She said in the clip, “I have been dealing with issues with my health for a long time, and it has been very difficult for me to face my challenges and talk about everything I have been through.
‘I was recently diagnosed with a very rare neurological condition, stiff person syndrome, which affects one in a million people.
‘While we are still learning about this rare condition, we now know that it is the cause of all the spasms I have had.’
Celine added: ‘Unfortunately these spasms affect every aspect of my daily life, sometimes causing problems when walking and preventing me from using my vocal cords to sing as I normally would.’
