Celeste Barber has shared a video of herself performing her own stunts on the set of the new Netflix series Wellmania.
The 40-year-old comedian shared a video on Instagram on Sunday showing herself strapped into a safety harness on set before filming a scene in which she falls dramatically.
She had a concentrated expression on her face as the crew lifted her several meters before dropping her onto a landing pad.
“Added a stunt double to my resume right after dancer and flower girl,” she wrote alongside the images.
The New South Wales native also shared a video of painful bruises on her stomach after rehearsing the fall multiple times.

Many of Celeste’s 9.5 million followers went wild over the images, congratulating her on pulling off such a risky feat.
“You are a force to be reckoned with,” said one fan, and another wrote: “Just saw that scene last night and asked how you did it.”
Celeste’s Wellmania series on Netflix seems tailor-made for her talent.
In the dramedy, which premiered on March 29, she plays Liv, a woman who goes on a “wellness trip” after a shocking health diagnosis.

Inspired by Brigid Delaney’s novel Wellmania: Misadventures in the Search for Wellness, Celeste also serves as executive producer on the eight-part series.
He talked about doing his own stunts on The Project last week and said that bruised after learning aerial silks.
“The most complete one I had to do was silks in a gym scene, you know, those amazing acrobatic silks where you spin around,” he told hosts Waleed Aly and Sarah Harris.
The Netflix series is a major milestone in the career of the Australian comedian, who shares two children, Lou, 11, and Buddy, eight, with her husband Api.
