Celebrity Race Across The World series two line up REVEALED: From Ted Lasso star to a famous father and son duo

The schedule for Celebrity Race Across The World on BBC One has finally been announced.

In the second season of the series’ spin-off, which stars celebrities like Ted Lasso and iconic TV hosts, they compete against each other to reach their final destination without the help of phones or money.

The first actors announced for the second season are Ted Lasso’s Kola Bokinni and his niece, Mary Ellen.

Kola, 31, from Peckham, is known for his role as Richmond team captain Isaac McAdoo in the Emmy and SAG Award-winning Apple TV+ series.

The actor will compete against TV presenter and presenter Jeff Brazier and his 20-year-old son Freddy in this epic 12,500km race.

Jeff rose to fame after appearing in the third season of Shipwrecked and has since appeared in numerous high-profile appearances including This Morning, Loose Women and Dancing on Ice,

He also has an older son, EastEnders and Strictly star Bobby, with whom he is in a relationship: Jade Goody, who tragically died of cervical cancer in 2009.

Model and actress Kelly Brook, 44, and her husband, Jeremy Parisi, will also be competing in the race of a lifetime.

Kelly is known for her modeling work in the UK and in the US for her role as Prudence in the NBC sitcom One Big Happy.

Radio 2 presenter Scott Mills and his husband – then fiancé – Sam, are also taking on the challenge in the hope of being crowned winners.

Their journey begins in Belém, northern Brazil – the gateway to the Amazon – and passes through five checkpoints across South America.

They will do everything they can to reach the finish in the Andes, Frutillar in southern Chile.

Familiar faces are saying goodbye to expensive transportation, smartphones and bank cards, and must instead rely on their skills, cunning and ingenuity, and the kindness of strangers.

In addition to the celebrities, their loved ones are also guests. This offers a unique insight into the people we thought we knew, through the eyes of those who know them best.
