Celebrity Big Brother star ‘could land major soap role after impressing bosses with his show stint’

Famous Big Brother star Bradley Riches could reportedly land a big soap role after becoming a hit with viewers.

The 22-year-old actor was previously evicted ahead of Friday’s final, which saw David Potts crowned champion ahead of Strictly professional dancer Nikita Kuzmin, 26.

Although Bradley didn’t make it to the finals, the Heartstopper actor has reportedly already caught the attention of the right people.

Dom Aldworth, head of brand marketing at Slingo, said The Daily Star: ‘With connections to both the BBC and ITV, in addition to his impressive acting portfolio appearing on both Netflix and Broadway and a large social media following, Riches would arguably have the pick of British soaps.

Despite coming sixth on the show, Bradley Riches, 22, could be considered the real winner as it is now claimed he could land a big British soap role.

The Heartstopper actor has reportedly already caught the attention of all the right people, thanks to his authentic personality on Celebrity Big Brother

‘EastEnders could be a good fit given its reputation as Britain’s most popular soap.’

Dom added that Bradley has already had an impressive career, so he and his management need to look at things strategically.

MailOnline has contacted Bradley’s representatives for comment.

Bradley, who was tricked into being eliminated from the ITV show, has reportedly already had a lucrative offer coming his way – as the lead in a new West End show.

Bradley will take on the role of James in Babies, which will run for six weeks at The Other Palace from late May to July 2024.

Written by Jack Godfrey and Martha Geelan, the show follows a group of Year 11 students who are each tasked with caring for a robot baby for sex education.

The official website reads: ‘With a thrilling pop-rock score, this brand new British musical follows nine students as they discover that growing older means more than just changing nappies.

“Friendships are tested, dreams are questioned and the true meaning of responsibility rears its terrifying head.”

It thought the actor who already starred in Netflix show Heartstopper could land a major soap role, the biggest of which would be EastEnders

The big news comes after Thursday’s episode, which saw the audience given the vote to save their favorite housemate, with Bradley eliminated in a shocking twist a day before the grand final.

Hours after leaving the show, Bradley was announced as the lead in an upcoming Wes End show titled Babies, where he will play the character James.

The West End news was announced just hours after Bradley was eliminated on Thursday – a day before the grand final when he was met by presenter AJ Odudu, who broke the news to the star that he would not be seeing a loved one because she left him instead knowing that he would be evicted after receiving the fewest votes.

The actor said during an appearance on Good Morning Britain that he was tricked into believing he was meeting a family member.

Speaking to host Richard Arnold, he said: ‘I was expecting a family member, or my partner, or my sister to come in… or even my dog.

“And when I saw the heel coming around the corner, I thought, ‘I don’t think anyone I know would wear a heel that big.’

“She (AJ) was walking, I was like okay, I understand what’s going on. She was upset too.”

But the actor didn’t seem discouraged and expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to be a part of this journey.

“I was so grateful, I just had so much fun when I was there. I made best friends for life and I was so happy with how my trip was.

‘I was so happy. Very happy,” he said.
