The cost of a family day out at Winter Wonderland has been revealed – and it’s not for the faint-hearted.

Taking to TikTok, Big Brother star Daniel O’Reilly – known as Dapper Laughs – documented his time at the capital’s most famous Christmas market before sharing the ‘mind-boggling’ amount of money he spent there.

The father of three visited the attraction with daughters Neve, Roux, Sensible and his wife Shelley.

Mr O’Reilly told his army of 1 million followers: ‘This is how much it really costs for a family day out in London at Winter Wonderland!

‘This has already been viewed 3 million times so I thought I might as well share it here for you – hopefully I’ll save you an absolute fortune!’

In the series of video clips, the comedian gives viewers an overview of his expenses, where he has spent his money on overpriced fairground rides, festive food and expensive drinks.

He said: ‘Today we’re going on a day out to London in Winter Wonderland. Now I heard it was expensive so I decided to document every pound we spent.

‘So if you want to know how much it really costs to take your family to London these days, watch until the end. You will be absolutely amazed.”

In one part of the video, Mr O’Reilly’s children visit the amusement park as he jokes: ‘£15 quid for that. Fun house? you could have bought a house.”

He also appeared visibly shocked by the price of four pancakes, which set him back a whopping £32.

Concluding the video, he said at the end, “Okay, time to add it up. ‘We have around £425, but if you then add the parking costs of £25, the train tickets for a family which comes to £125 and the £200 that Shelley managed to spend, we get a total of £775.

‘That’s almost £800, which is more than enough for a completely exclusive holiday for your family in Benidorm. Was it a nice day out? Of course it was.

Mr O’Reilly appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2018. He got engaged to his partner following a proposal on live television after becoming the third contestant to leave the show.

During his exit interview with Emma Willis, Dapper Laughs turned to his then-girlfriend and said, “When I was in the house, I regretted every day that I never asked you this. Will you marry me?’

He added: “Sorry about the ring, Ginuwine made it for me. We’ll exchange it for better paper,” and said, “I’ll check with your father afterwards to see if that’s okay.”

The couple later married in July 2022.
