Two future TV presenters, one world famous pop star in the making and a debonair secret agent elect: As we unearth four fresh-faced celebrities during their school years… how many do YOU recognise?
Many people get excited when they spot celebrities in public and are usually eager to catch a glimpse, or better yet, take a cheeky photo as they go about their day.
But despite all that instant recognition, there was once a time when these celebrities looked very different from how they look today – as our four chosen stars illustrate in a series of teen snaps.
In one photo a man is known for his outspoken opinions, although here he looks rather pensive, in a photo that emerged when he went to the ancestry show Who do you think you are?
The following is the grin of a child looking proud to represent his school, as seen in a photo of Hoylake Church of England Primary School in 1979.
The person in question also has the type of blonde pudding bowl haircut that will be a terrible reminder to many Brits of the shocking hairstyles their parents were burdened with as young children.
You see this person with a mop of curly hair and a loose tie staring wistfully at the camera

The third photo shows another smiling child, showing a wide grin while wearing a white shirt with a nice blue and red striped tie.
Finally, a grainy black and white image shows a smiling person in a photo that doesn’t give away much in the way of helpful clues as to who the now-famous celebrity might be.
