CeeLo Green tried to ride around town on a horse he loves, but he said ‘forget about yourself’.

The 47-year-old singer and rapper, whose real name is Thomas DeCarlo Callaway-Burton, embarrassingly fell from a horse while trying to make a grand entrance at a birthday party honoring the late rapper Shawty Lo in Atlanta on Wednesday.

The artist could be seen doing it in front of the crowd while sitting atop the equine at the celebration held at The Bank venue.

However, things quickly take a turn when the horse can be seen losing its footing on the slippery tile floor.

Handlers clung to the four-legged creature for stability and to help CeeLo balance, but that doesn’t seem to work as the horse’s legs bend.

Finally, the animal’s hind legs give way and CeeLo falls to the ground.

The event was for a good cause as they continued to celebrate the birthday of Atlanta rapper Shawty Lo, who died due to blunt force head trauma in a fire accident in September 2016.

The 40-year-old Atlanta rapper also had pain pills on him at the time of his death and reeked of alcohol, according to TMZ At the time.

Shawty, whose real name is Carlos Rico Walker, died on September 21, 2016 in a car accident on a freeway near southwest Atlanta.

The autopsy report from the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s Office revealed that Shawty suffered fatal blunt force injuries to his head when he was ejected from the vehicle.

The accident occurred after Shawty walked out of a strip club, leaving behind 11 children from 10 different mothers.
