Twins Cavinder and Miami suffer March Madness heartbreak when LSU knocks them out in the Elite Eight… after the 22-year-old TikTok stars took over the tournament during Cinderella’s run
Sunday night marked the end of March madness for Miami and his TikTok sensation Cavinder twins after they were defeated 54-42 by No. 3 seed LSU.
Miami entered the game as big outsiders and a ninth seed, but with plenty of confidence having eliminated No. 4 seed Villanova, No. 1 seed Indiana, and No. 8 seed Oklahoma State in the earlier rounds.
The Final Four proved to be a step too far, however, as LSU dominated in Greenville, South Carolina, to send Miami packing.
The Hurricanes have become the most talked about team in the NCAA Women’s Tournament, thanks in part to their Cinderella run, but also to their two TikTok-famous players, Hanna and Haley Cavinder.
Hanna did not play in the Elite Eight matchup, sitting on the bench for the entire game, while her sister Haley had two points and three rebounds.

The couple have amassed an incredible 166,000 Instagram followers and over 4.5 million followers on a very active TikTok account.
The 22-year-olds have used their budding fame to win several NIL deals, reportedly now worth $850,000 each.
That ranks them as the two tallest female college basketball players and 32nd and 33rd overall in college sports.
Going into Elite Eight play, Haley Cavinder led the University of Miami in points, averaging 12.6 per game, but it was Jasmyne Roberts who stepped up the night to record 22 for her team, with four being the next best.
The twins have amassed a massive following on social media and have an incredible 4.5 million fans on TikTok.

LSU will now move on to face either No. 1 seed South Carolina or No. 2 seed Maryland in next weekend’s Final Four, while the other game will be Virginia Tech/Ohio State against Louisville/Iowa.
For the Cavinder twins, the spotlight will now turn to social media, with the couple releasing the first part of their March Madness vlog on Monday.
They also host a podcast together and post regularly to their social media channels.
It has been reported that the Cavinder twins are already worth $850,000 each at the age of just 22.
