‘Catwoman’ Jocelyn Wildenstein filmed new reality series months before shock death at 84
Jocelyn Wildenstein, nicknamed the ‘Catwoman’ for her feline-inspired plastic surgery, was preparing for a return to the spotlight before she died unexpectedly on Tuesday at the age of 85.
The Swiss socialite, once a billionaire, had reportedly filmed a reality show just a year earlier TMZ.
The series, produced by Christine Peters and Jeff Jenkins, followed Jocelyn’s transition from her old roots in New York City to a new life in Los Angeles.
Filming reportedly lasted a month, but the project remains in limbo and is still looking for a network or streaming platform.
Despite the uncertain fate, insiders shared that Jocelyn was “happy,” “healthy” and “a joy to work with” during production.
“She thoroughly enjoyed the experience,” the source added.

Sources reveal that the show is fully wrapped, with plenty of compelling visuals ready to captivate the audience.
Insiders remain optimistic about securing a platform to bring the series to viewers.
Wildenstein, born Jocelyne Périsset, was taking a nap in a Parisian palace at the time of her death, it is reported by Paris competition.
Her longtime partner Lloyd Klein, 57, confirmed she died of a pulmonary embolism.
The socialite repeatedly denied having any work done over the years, telling DailyMail.com in 2018: ‘I’ve always looked like Brigitte Bardot.’
Last month, Utah-based Dr. Jerry Chidester, or ‘Dr. Chiddy,” addressed the claims that she had work done, explaining the procedures Jocelyn could have undergone — as well as possible complications.
In 2018, Jocelyn revealed to Page Six that her fortune had shrunk significantly, partly due to an art scandal.
A Velázquez painting included in her divorce settlement was exposed as a forgery, while a Cézanne expected to fetch $35 million at auction sold for just $4.7 million.

Romantically, Wildenstein found companionship in fashion designer Klein, whom she started dating in 2003.
Although the two later became engaged, their relationship was anything but smooth.
In 2016, Wildenstein was arrested after an altercation in her Trump Tower apartment during which she allegedly slashed Klein’s face with scissors.
Days later, Klein was arrested for theft and assault while trying to retrieve his belongings from her apartment.
Despite their turbulent history, the couple eventually reconciled.
