Catherine Zeta-Jones reveals the one celebrity she worked hard to get an autograph from

Catherine Zeta-Jones presented her new cover for parade magazine to her 4.6 million Instagram followers on Friday.

She captioned the post: ‘Did you catch me on @Parademag? I’m telling some unknown secrets of life on set, me as a mother and that person whose autograph I had to have… who could it be?’

Catherine revealed that the last time she asked for an autograph was when she met Adele. “After I gave Adele her Oscar, I asked her to sign a piece of paper. I didn’t say it was for me! I also have a photograph of us backstage, so I made a little shadow box of the items,” she said.

Speaking about her role as Morticia Addams, the iconic mother of a sarcastic teenager on Wednesday, Catherine said her maternal instincts kicked in.

‘It always helps to bring the ‘real’ to your work, but I also found it quite moving. We learn that Morticia was this popular cheerleader at school who is very different from Wednesday.

‘And when you have a daughter, you wish you could put an old head on young shoulders. My daughter would say, “Mom, I’m not you!” But you’re half of me, right? This is life. And it’s interesting to play it,’ Zeta-Jones said.

Over the Thanksgiving holiday, Catherine did something very sweet for her husband of 22 years, movie icon Michael Douglas this fall.

The 53-year-old artist, along with his children Carys, 19, and Dylan, 22, flew to France, where the 78-year-old Wall Street actor was filming an Apple project to surprise him.

‘I thought I was going to have a heart attack!’ the Oscar-winning Chicago actress shared while she was in The Kelly Clarkson Show on Friday.

Douglas plays Benjamin Franklin in a new Apple project.

The story explores one of the biggest gambles of Franklin’s career.
