Cat and her family returned to Los Angeles for the So You Think You Can Dance, after moving to London at the start of the 2020 pandemic.

Cat and her husband Patrick Kielty left the US with their two sons, Milo, 6, and James, 4, two years ago after living in Beverly Hills for 15 years.

The star previously revealed that the “catalyst” for the family’s departure was the terrifying moment in which Patrick and his eldest son narrowly avoided a public shooting at Century City Mall.

The couple was also interested in their children going to school in the UK and being closer to their friends and family.

The family returned to Los Angeles earlier this year, but only temporarily, and Cat told The Telegraph that they moved for the school holidays and will return to the UK when her show ends.

‘You have so little time when everyone wants to hang out, so we stepped back to take advantage of that. And then the pandemic hit…’, he explained about how they settled in the UK.

‘We didn’t want to put anyone at risk in the pandemic because, well, little kids! But we’re making up for it now. I taught Milo to read and ride a bike in the pandemic. It was nice to be all together.
