Cat Deeley swaps her polished daytime TV look for baggy cargo workwear as down-to-earth star picks up breakfast on the go

Make-up-free Cat Deeley swapped her polished TV look for cargo workwear as she stepped into the capital on Thursday.

The new This Morning presenter, 47, looked absolutely stunning as she let her natural beauty shine during the outing.

And since Cat didn’t have time for breakfast, she grabbed a coffee and pastry to take with her as she prepared to cross the road.

She wore a loose utility jacket over loose-fitting jeans and completed her look with a pair of chunky boots.

Cat’s hair was still styled in natural, loose curls as she entered the capital during her two-week break from This Morning.

Cat is enjoying a two-week break from her This Morning hosting duties, while Alison Hammond and Dermot O’Leary step in for the Easter holidays.

The star is expected to return alongside Ben Shephard on Monday, April 15, after they debuted together last month.

Cat and Ben landed the coveted hosting gig after Holly Willoughby left the show in October.

Since her debut, Cat has already turned heads with a slew of recognizable ensembles, which can somehow be attributed to using This Morning’s resident stylist, rather than recruiting her own.

Her predecessor was rarely without trusted personal stylist Dannii Whiteman while preparing for her daily appearances on the show and often favored her guidance over the backstage staff.

Whiteman, who also contributes to Willoughby’s Wylde Moon lifestyle blog, has additionally been responsible for creating the presenter’s glamorous looks at various social engagements and red carpet events, as well as her other high-profile TV roles including Dancing On Ice .

Discussing Willoughby’s signature style with The Sun, she said: ‘Something that is essential when dressing Holly is a cinched waist.

‘Drawing attention to Holly’s waist is essential, especially for TV, as you have no control over the camera angles.’

She added, “Anything with a nipped in waist will be your best friend, whether it’s high-waisted fitted pants, a classic midi dress with a nipped in waist, an A-line skirt, etc.”

Despite only being part of the ITV family for a few weeks, BBC bosses are keen to lure her to the network to host an entertainment show.

Sources at the Beeb have revealed that, following an ongoing row between the BBC and ITV over the poaching of each other’s talent, some Corporation bosses reportedly ‘see the huge value’ in hiring her.

One told The Mail on Sunday: ‘Cat has the queen of Saturday night television feeling about her, and women are lacking in that area.

‘She is used to hosting a glitzy show in America and with the right program here she could be an absolute ratings winner.

‘There’s no love lost between the BBC and ITV over star stealing, so what a great move this would be.’

ITV recently poached BBC stars Graham Norton, Gary Lineker and Zoe Ball to host their shows, while Alison Hammond and Paddy McGuinness were both lured from ITV to their rival.
