A body has been found on a popular beach in a grim incident on Valentine’s Day.
The body was discovered on Wednesday morning along Casuarina Beach in Darwin, Northern Territory.
Police have closed off parts of the beach while Surf Live Savers have warned the dogs to stay away from the area.

After the grim discovery, three officers were seen lying on the sand.
An NT Police spokeswoman said the case was being treated as non-suspicious.
