Castlevania: Nocturne season 2’s Netflix release date has been confirmed, but it won’t scare us in time for Halloween

Castlevania: Night has a release date for season two, but it’s coming later than fans might have hoped. If you were expecting the beloved vampire series to return in time for its scariest season yet, I’m afraid I have some bad news:

One of the first announcements from the best streaming service for Netflix Geeked Week is a trailer and release date for the newest season in the Castlevania series, but unfortunately new episodes will not be released until January 2025.

However, the new year promises to bring some great things as we know Parting Season 2 will be released on Apple TV Plus in January, but with Castlevania: Night it gives off a creepy feeling, it’s a shame fans have to wait for its return.

The good news is that it’s on the way – and Netflix has dropped some exciting details. Check them out below.

As mentioned above, Castlevania: Nighte will debut in January 2025. Per Tudumwill see the return of key characters from season one such as Richter (Edward Bluemel), Maria (Pixie Davies), Annette (Thuso Mbedu), Edouard (Sydney James Harcourt) and Tera (Nastassja Kinski). However, by the time we see them again, they will have undergone some “major emotional or physical changes” following the events of season one.

Also returning will be Alucard, the son of Dracula (talk about nepotism), voiced in the original by James Callis. Castlevania series. During the second season, he becomes a reluctant mentor to Richter and Annette, and that dynamic will be interesting to watch.

On the plot front, Netflix has confirmed that season two of one of the best Netflix anime series will be set during the French Revolution. The ruling class of oppressive religious figures and exploitative imperialists has been infiltrated by literal bloodsuckers, including the vampire messiah Erzsebet (Franka Potente), so there’s plenty to get excited about.
