Casper Van Dien, known for his iconic role in the 90s classic, Starship Troopers, supported his daughter, Grace Van Dien, at the Toronto International Film Festival on Thursday.

The talented actor, 53, walked the red carpet with his daughter and the two posed together for some adorable photos.

The budding actress, 25, has followed in her father’s footsteps and most recently starred as Chrissy Cunningham in season four of Netflix’s Stranger Things.

Grace chose a chic all-black ensemble to attend the red carpet screening of her latest thriller titled Roost.

She wore a fitted black mini dress with thin straps that she paired with sheer black tights.

The beauty chose to don a pair of Mary Jane heels to complete her overall look for the exciting evening.

To embellish her elegant ensemble, the Stranger Things actress added a black choker and a pearl headband to her blonde locks, along with a pearl bracelet.

The heartbeat of the 90s matched his daughter’s ensemble by wearing a black suit along with a matching black shirt.

The actor opted for a pop of color along with his black suit by adding a leopard print tie and dress shoes with the same pattern.

The father-daughter duo seemed to be in a good mood as they posed for a short photo shoot. Casper was also pictured with his current wife, Jennifer Wenger, after the two tied the knot in 2018.

He was previously married to actress Carrie Mitchum, who is also Grace’s biological mother.

During an interview with VAR Magazine, Grace explained that she got her first acting experience when her father asked her to do voice acting for a Starship Troopers video game.

“He just asked me to make some sounds of army soldiers,” he added that the experience was “nice.”

It wasn’t until years later that she discovered a deeper passion for acting. “I didn’t start acting actively until I finished high school for about a year.”

“I wanted to be a writer all my life and every now and then my dad would throw me into one of his projects for fun, but it wasn’t until we worked on Sleeping Beauty together that I discovered how much I love acting.”

In the 2014 live-action remake of the Disney classic, Grace played the lead role of Aurora, while her father directed the film and played the character Stefan.

Grace and her family attended the film festival to celebrate the screening of her latest thriller, Roost.

During an interview with ET Canada in July, Casper weighed in on his daughter’s success in the industry, including her recent role in Stranger Things.

“I was just really grateful to look at her and I’m so proud of her and I’m a happy father,” he said.
