The 34-year-old Australian Idol star achieved her goal after following a strict Jenny Craig diet program, but there was one thing that made all the difference.

The singer said that portion control was her real secret to success and that she “could still eat things like pies or sausage rolls.”

“Jenny Craig has been an absolute blessing because she really retaught me and re-educated me,” she said. 7Entertainment.

“I can still eat things like pies or sausage rolls, just portioned, so it’s really about portion control.

“I think we’ve gotten a bit lost with all these fad diets, telling you how to lose weight but not how to keep it off, or how to take care of yourself after the fact.”

Donovan went on to say that this change wasn’t just about a fast fashion diet to fit into a dress, it was about being able to “break in that dress forever.”

The Listen With Your Heart hitmaker debuted her slimmed-down body on Thursday when she posed for Uluru for NITV’s 10th anniversary celebration.

She revealed that she had been in contact with her Jenny Craig trainer, Angela, while on the road.

The singer said that portion control was her real secret to success and that she “could still eat things like pies or sausage rolls.”

“We talked about the reality of traveling and doing everything possible to stay on schedule and had honest conversations about how to build my plate if my meals can’t be packed in my suitcase,” she shared.
