Casey Donovan shared the eating plan that led to her successful weight loss.

In an Instagram post on Saturday, the 34-year-old posted a week’s worth of meals from Jenny Craig.

The singer’s menu includes a breakfast of banana bread, whole-grain toast and fruit, or Nutri-Grain cereal, two slices of whole-grain toast and a half-cup of baked beans.

You also have a choice of an apricot oatmeal bar, an English muffin, fruit, and a boiled or poached egg.

Each breakfast has the addition of a serving of dairy, which can come in the form of milk or yogurt.

For snacks, you can choose from a dairy item, fruit, nuts, half an English muffin, and ricotta cheese.

Lunch menu items include a ham and cheese toastie or pesto pasta, along with sides of whole wheat bread, meat, and salad.

The diet is clearly flexible, as on some days Casey has substituted a burrito for pumpkin soup, a pork bun for roasted vegetables, and a frittata for spaghetti bolognese.

Dinner selections range from a meat patty with a side of vegetables and bread, to a vegetarian tikka masala or roast chicken and vegetables.

Casey also traded in some of her dinners, choosing chicken curry over Thai fish cakes and a satay dish over cannelloni.

‘Eight shows a week can be nice sometimes… The only thing I love is that I get to fit my @jennycraigausnz meals into each and every day!’ she wrote in the caption of her photo.

“I prepare my vegetables and/or salads at home and take my Jenny Craig meals with me and just heat them up before, between and after shows. It’s ridiculously simple!

Donovan recently shared his weight loss secrets, revealing that he’s been in touch with his Jenny Craig trainer, Angela, while on the road.

He is currently starring in the stage production of ‘& Juliet’, a spin-off based on Shakespeare’s classic Romeo and Juliet, which is playing at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre.

“We talked about the reality of traveling and doing everything possible to stay on schedule and had honest conversations about how to build my plate if my meals can’t be packed in my suitcase,” she shared.

She added: ‘[Jenny Craig] gives you the tools to eat with confidence and an understanding of what your plate and portion size should look like so you can enjoy the finer things in life. Life is about living and learning to handle the silly season.’

The star also said she doesn’t like “fad diets”, calling Jenny Craig’s structured program “life-changing”.

Donovan revealed in November that she now weighs less than 100 kilograms for the first time as an adult.
