Casemiro is said to have been injured by Erik ten Hag’s decision to leave him out of the FA Cup final.
The Brazilian was initially on the bench for Saturday’s 2-1 win over Manchester City, but was replaced by 19-year-old Willy Kambwala.
However, Erik ten Hag said that the midfielder was not yet 100 percent fit for the match ESPN Brazil disputed this.
GOAL reports that Casemiro has been injured by the decision to exclude him from the selection for the final, according to their sources close to him.
Casemiro had started ten consecutive games despite struggling form, filling in at centre-back, but Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane returned as a duo for the final.

Despite playing in 32 games (scoring five goals and providing three assists), Casemiro was criticized for his slow performances.
