As reported by Manchester United official websiteCasemiro was one of those selected from a shortlist of 26 players.
The World 11, which is voted on by the players, takes into account the performances from August 8, 2021 to December 18, 2022.
Casemiro received his award at a ceremony in Paris on Monday and posed for a photograph with his teammates on Tuesday at the club’s training ground in Carrington.
The 31-year-old has had a tremendous impact at United since joining from Real Madrid last year.
