A crossover between the Cartoon Network show Johnny Bravo and the highly influential anime series Dragon Ball Z that was previously thought to have been lost has resurfaced on YouTube.
The meeting between the programs took place as part of the JBVO: Your All Request Cartoon Show program block, which aired from 2000 to 2001.
The block was hosted by Bravo, who was voiced by Jeff Bennett, and the fictional character would introduce and play several cartoon segments from Cartoon Network’s archive that viewers requested.
However, the block’s running time was not suitable for a full 30-minute episode of a show.
During an episode of JBVO that aired on May 5, 2000, a caller from Colorado named Jennifer called to ask Bravo to play her favorite episode of Dragon Ball Z, which featured the show’s hero, Goku, taking on Frieza in an explosive fight.
