Carrie Underwood’s Nashville home catches fire… but singer’s family and pets were ‘unharmed’

Carrie Underwood and her family remain unharmed after their Nashville home caught fire on Father’s Day.

This was said by the representative of the 41-year-old country singer We weekly: ‘There was a fire in the building on Sunday night, which was quickly brought under control.’

“There was no fire damage to the main home and the family and their pets were unharmed,” the representative added.

A fire had broken out in their garage, setting off their fire alarm. Firefighters responded and extinguished the flames before they spread.

According to Wkrn.comthe fire started at 9:40 p.m. at her Nashville home, which she shares with husband Mike Fisher and their children, sons Isaiah, nine, and Jacob, five.

The star and her family were home at the time of the fire.

Their home is on a long road with a long driveway in a remote location, so all eight of Williamson County’s fire stations were deployed.

The outlet reported the fire was in the garage and officials suspect the cause was a UTV parked next to it.

A UTV is an all-terrain vehicle.

The home had a 30,000-gallon water tank on the property, so firefighters could quickly extinguish the fire, rather than trying to hook something up, due to the home’s remote location.

Although the fire was quickly extinguished, firefighters remained on the scene as more hot spots flared up in the walls of the garage.

The fire was limited to the garage and did not spread to the main house.
