Carrie Johnson says ideas to get her and Boris’ 16-month-old daughter Romy off her dummy… suck!

EMILY PRESCOTT: Carrie Johnson says ideas to get her and Boris’ 16-month-old daughter Romy off her pacifier… sucks!

When she turned to Instagram for parenting advice, Carrie, Boris Johnson’s wife, didn’t quite get the constructive feedback she was looking for.

Carrie, 35, pictured below with 16-month-old daughter Romy, asked her followers for tips on how to get her off the pacifier.

“The best options seem to be cold turkey (and wine for mom),” Carrie said on her Instagram story before adding, “And darkest of all, a full dummy burial in the yard and bury it.” ‘

Given that Boris and Carrie currently live in a property on the posh Daylesford Estate, I don’t think setting up a dummy graveyard in the backyard would go down too well.

BBC’s Huw Edwards is a Royal swot

BBC newsreader Huw Edwards, 61

Newsreader Huw Edwards is extremely conscientious when it comes to covering the coronation.

Huw, 61, tells me he brushed up on his knowledge of the coronation by buying old magazines from 1937 and 1953 on eBay to see how the press covered the event in the past.

With the big day less than a month away, Huw says, “I’m excited and nervous. We still don’t know exactly what’s in the coronation service – apart from the coronation itself!’

He’s known for taking on the world’s most violent criminals, so Ross Kemp should be much more comfortable with his new venture – a clothing line called Cempa, an old English word for warrior.

I wonder if Ross, 58, will wear the mark for his return to acting in Channel 5’s new thriller, Blindspot?
