Carrie Bickmore’s big family news leaves fans stunned – as rumoured love Tommy Little weighs in
Carrie Bickmore has shared some major family news on social media.
The 43-year-old radio and TV star took to Instagram on Monday to announce that her son Oliver had turned 17 and was on his way to getting his pilot’s license.
The mother of two posted a slideshow of images of “Ollie” in the cockpit, as well as two versions of a cake Carrie baked herself depicting the plane he trained in.
In the caption, she joked that her baking skills were “boring,” before sharing her improved second attempt at placing a model airplane on top of a baked cake roll.
One of the first reactions to the post came from Carrie’s radio co-host and alleged lover Tommy Little.
“But where’s the cake?! All I see is the real world and a huge plane,” joked the 39-year-old comedian, who is also a licensed pilot.
Fans were stunned by Oliver’s news, with one writing: ‘OMG, amazing!’
“How exciting, my 56 year old brother got his driver’s license at 16 and has never regretted it,” wrote another.

Oliver is the son Carrie had with her late first husband, Greg Lange.
In 2015, she had a daughter, Adelaide, with her partner Chris Walker, before the couple split in 2023.
Last year, Carrie and Tommy hosted their HIT FM radio show from Paris, France, and fans were convinced they were in a relationship.
Carrie split from her partner of 11 years early last year, while Tommy was reportedly single following his split from girlfriend Natalie Kyriacou in 2021.
Carrie announced their split in an Instagram post in January 2022. She said the couple were focused on co-parenting their three children: Ollie, 16, Evie, eight, and Adelaide, five.
“It is with great sadness that Chris and I have decided to separate,” she wrote.

Although this is a difficult time, our focus is on parenting, the love and support we give to our three children Ollie, Evie and Addie, with everything we have.
“They are doing great. We will not comment further.”
Tommy rushed to Carrie’s side when she confirmed her split, leading insiders to speculate that their friendship could develop into something more.
It’s been a successful year for the radio couple, with their drive show Hit Network recently reaching number one in the August ratings.
The duo’s fourth consecutive ratings win came in the form of their number one ranking last month, marking Hit Network’s best showing for its Drive slot since 2018.
