Carrie Bickmore recently surprised fans when she quit The Project.

But fans of her national radio show can breathe a sigh of relief after the Hit Network confirmed that she and Tommy Little won’t be going anywhere for the next four years.

On Monday, the network announced that the popular hosts have signed a mega deal to continue entertaining Aussies on their popular Drive series, Carrie & Tommy.

“This show is such an incredible joy to me and it is extremely exciting to be able to bring that joy to our listeners for another four years,” Carrie, 41, said in a statement.

“We already have so many exciting adventures lined up for 2023, but in true Carrie & Tommy style, I’m sure none of them will go as planned!”

Tommy, 37, added: ‘We’re here for a good, long time. Carrie is my best buddy, so riding her coat tails for another four years is a dream come true.”

Bickmore announced her departure from The Project last month after 12 years on the air.

She told viewers she was quitting to spend more time with her family.

The Gold Logie winner has been on The Project desk since the program launched in 2009 and has since become a familiar face on Australian screens.

“I have news I wanted to share… I’m already crying,” she began. “I made the difficult decision to end the show at the end of this year.”

Since then, rumors have been swirling about her next career move, with some industry observers expecting her to appear on Nine’s A Current Affair next year.
