Fans have criticized Carrie Bickmore and Melissa Leong’s unique ensembles as they attended the NGV Gala 2024 in Melbourne on Saturday night.
Carrie, 44, stepped out of her comfort zone and dared to bare herself in a sheer tulle Paolo Sebastian dress, worn over a corset.
She put her pins and underwear on display in the revealing cream number with black text detailing to match her heels.
Former MasterChef judge Melissa, 42, showed off her strapless multi-coloured column dress in a neon graffiti style.
She added a pair of statement earrings and artistic makeup to match her eccentric ensemble.
However, fans were unimpressed and labeled Carrie and Melissa’s red carpet looks as ‘tragic’.

‘O goodness! Where is fashion going these days?!” one person commented, while another said: “Carrie just looks tragic.”
“Melissa Leong looks comical,” a third person wrote, while another agreed, “She needs a new stylist.”
One wrote: ‘Women’s fashion choices at high-profile events have been on a downward spiral for some time. There is no such thing as good fashion sense anymore.’
“Was bad taste/fancy dress accidentally printed on the invitations?” asked another.
Carrie went bold for the cameras by striking some dramatic poses on the red carpet during the event.
The star was not joined by her longtime Fox FM co-host Tommy Little.
In recent months, there have been rumors that her co-star could be her love interest for quite some time.
Carrie and Tommy have been the subject of romance rumors since they hosted their HIT FM radio show from Paris, France last year.

In October, the couple was spotted cuddling for a backstage photo at the ACRAs after skipping the red carpet altogether.
Carrie divorced her partner of 11 years, Chris Walker, in 2022.
Meanwhile, Tommy has reportedly been single since his split from girlfriend Natalie Kyriacou in 2021.
Tommy rushed to Carrie’s side when she confirmed her split, leading insiders to speculate that their friendship could evolve into something more.
Carrie announced her split from Chris in an Instagram post in January 2022, saying the couple would co-parent their three children, Ollie, 16, Evie, eight, and Adelaide, five.
The radio co-presenters have had a successful year with their drive-time radio show.
In August, Carrie and Tommy was once again named the number one national drive show in Australia.
The Hit Network show captured an 11.1 percent share in Australia, securing top spot for the fourth time in a row.

The pair said of the results: ‘How lucky we are to have such a hardworking team and incredible listeners who continue to drive us to incredible results.
“Thank you, Australia, for making us No. 1 for the fourth time in a row.
‘We have a blast every afternoon and love sharing the fun with listeners across the country.’
Earning the number one spot made it the pair’s fourth consecutive victory in the ratings and the best result the Hit Network has achieved for its drive slot since 2018.
