Her post comes a day after she shocked This Morning viewers with an outburst directed at her former friend Michelle Mone, 51.

The TV star used her appearance to discuss the scandal currently engulfing Baroness Mone over government PPE contracts.

She reignited her vicious feud with the bra baronness when she claimed, “I dropped her like a stone as soon as I realized what kind of person she was” before looking at the camera and saying “Sue me, Michelle.”

The reality TV star used to be friends with the embattled Michelle, and the couple would party a lot on the nights together before Baroness Mone married billionaire businessman Doug Barrowman.

News broke last month that Vorderman, 62, had ended their friendship “some time ago”, but today was the first time he broached the issue on national television.

However, a source close to the businesswoman hit back at Carol today, calling her ‘publicity hungry’ and calling the comments ‘outrageous’.

They added: “I really don’t understand why Carol has started this attack.”

Earlier this week, Carol opened up about her sex life during an appearance on Monday’s This Morning show, admitting that they often start out as friends before an “extra chill” hits.

She admitted her lovers “know each other” and said life has changed since she dreamed of being married to a man in her 20s.

Carol, who divorced her second husband, Patrick King, in 2000, spoke enthusiastically about the arrangement, revealing that she doesn’t get jealous because she “never asks” about her partner’s personal life.

She said: ‘They do know each other now. We all have to be on the same page. They have their lives and I don’t need to know about it.’

Going on to reveal that his only rule is always “do no harm”.

She said: ‘It was interesting, I talked about it [multiple partners] impromptu but the reaction was almost all positive.

‘When I was 20 years old I wanted to get married and have children. At 60 I have a full life and I live with my children.

‘I don’t want to settle for anyone, I love my job, the education business, a busy home. People don’t want just one partner, they were all single. There is a rule of not doing harm’.

She continued: ‘The rules of the societies were very different and if a woman had a child without being married, it was horrible.

“I went to Cambridge [University] at 17 and my mom sat me down and told me that I had to think about settling down to get married.

“I think that from the age of 50 you have to think if you want another man to live with you or if you want the nice things.”

Admitting that you “don’t need to know” about your partner’s personal life or that you have no idea, even if they have friends of their own.

“I only talk about it because there was a big reaction and a lot of people are ashamed of society, so why not talk about it?”

“Love can be very unhappy and the goal is not just to be happy.”
