Carol Vorderman flaunts her curves in an orange mini dress after I’m A Celeb stint

Viewers recently saw her eliminated from I’m A Celebrity: South Africa after a slew of terrifying trials.

And Carol Vorderman took to Instagram on Friday to share a gallery of sexy snaps as she relaxed in the bush with her fellow camp mates.

The Countdown presenter, 62, showed off her dazzling curves in a sexy orange dress, enjoying a glass of wine with campmates Helen Flanagan and Georgia Toffolo after leaving the show, which was filmed late last year.

Carol shared the photos when she appeared on Loose Women to discuss her time in the camp, admitting she was “deeply traumatized” by one process.

She confessed that the terrifying Tanks of Terror water test left her “sobbing” and unable to go for a swim, after being submerged in a tank of water for the challenge.

In her snaps, Carol donned a form-fitting orange dress that showed off every inch of her dazzling curves.

The presenter added a video of a beautiful sunset walk with Helen Flanagan, before enjoying a glass of wine with actress and fellow campmate Toff.

Carol was also relaxing with ex-campmates Paul Burrell and Andy Whyment, the group clearly enjoying luxuries again after their stay at the camp.

She captioned her post: “Some [camera emoji] with my dear jungle friends after our time in this year’s @imacelebrity…South Africa.”

On Friday, Carol made a guest appearance on Loose Women to talk about her time in the I’m A Celebrity camp.

She confessed that she tried not to face her worst fears by lying to show bosses, yet was forced to face her worst phobia.

“I thought only an idiot would tell them. I told them everything I wasn’t afraid of,” she said.

“After the first series, they gave me everything I feared – being underwater and trapped. This really traumatized me.’

“I was deeply traumatized by that. I was sobbing. It took a few days for me to feel good. I haven’t swum since then.’

Asked why she signed up for the All Stars-esque series, Carol added, “They asked and I loved it last time.

“It has really made a difference in my life. I went camping and hiking again. It really changes everything, because you live in the open air.’

Carol previously told The mirror about how horrible the Tanks of Terror trial was and said, “I was traumatized and my body went into shock afterwards.”

She collapsed after the trial and “sobbed” with Fatima in unaired scenes for 10 minutes before having nightmares about drowning that night.

She added, “It was even worse to me than it looked on TV. My two big fears are drowning and getting stuck so it combined the two.

‘I thought: I have to try it’, but it all started to go wrong in my head. I felt like I might drown. When Fatima and I walked the path back to camp, I just started sobbing.’

She added that it made her feel very vulnerable and has pushed her to take swimming lessons now that she is home to overcome her fears.

In her exit interview with ITV, she added: ‘I’ve been chosen for my second Trial and I have to choose someone to do it with me. I chose Fatima in a heartbeat. It was horrible. I really panicked when I did it.

‘Fatima calmed me down. As you would have seen, I didn’t make it to the last tank. I only had a few minutes left, but even if I had ten minutes, I wouldn’t have done it.

“I was so scared, I didn’t know if I could get my head in the breathing hole. I was confused. I have seven stars. As we made our way to camp, I felt the emotions welling up in me. I have to admit, it knocked me out for a few days.

“I relive it over and over in my head. If I had to do that again today, I wouldn’t go in that third tank. I would not do it. But it got me thinking, I’ll take swimming lessons now, because I’m often at sea.’

Carol and royal butler Paul Burrell, 64, headed home after finishing last in the Vile Vineyard trial on Thursday night’s episode.

Myleene Klass, Fatima, Jordan Banjo and Phil Tufnell remained in the final four as the race to become the first-ever I’m A Celebrity Legend drew to a close.
