Appearing on Friday’s This Morning, Carol made a hilarious X-rated joke about her ‘lots of friends’.
The Countdown icon was on the ITV daytime show alongside Vanessa Feltz to discuss the day’s issues with hosts Dermot O’Leary and Alison Hammond.
The foursome were discussing the shocking viral video of an off-leash dog brutally attacking police horses in a London park.
Alison suggested, ‘People need to have more control over their dogs, do you agree?’ to which Carol replied: Well, I’m a big walker and I walk the countryside every day that I can.
With your dog? Alison asked, with Carol clarifying: ‘No, I don’t have a dog, but I would love to have a dog, it wouldn’t be fair to them. I’m not home all the time, so I can’t have a dog.
Alison quipped, “You don’t have time for a dog, you have too many friends,” which got the group laughing, with Dermot cheekily adding: None of them are on a leash!

‘The language around a woman of my generation is that if you had more than one partner when you got married, you were this, you were that.
“Everything was derogatory about a woman, that was the environment I was growing up in. It was like ‘she’s desperate,’ everything was judgmental.”
