Carol Vorderman, 62, says dream campmate Myleene Klass, 45, would beat her in the ‘bikini Oscars’
Despite being known for her incredible figure, Carol Vorderman is convinced that Myleene Klass would beat her in the “bikini Oscars.”
Ahead of her performance on I’m A Celeb All Stars, the 62-year-old described the stunning singer as her “dream camp mate” as she reflected on how her first jungle stint “changed me a lot.”
When asked who she would have liked to see on the show with her, Carol said, “Myleene Klass, but if we had ‘bikini Oscars’ she would win”.
Before adding, “Or Vicky Pattison, because she really changed her life and I love people who do.”
Myleene is known to have turned up the temperatures in a white bikini during her appearance on the ITV show in 2006, before Carol took to the jungle ten tears later.

Carol also went on to reveal that she first visited South Africa – the location for the new series – when she was 19 after falling in love.
Saying, ‘I went to South Africa when I was 19. I met the first love of my life when I was working on a technical construction site’.
My boss was 24 and we fell in love. His next job was in Botswana and I flew there. There were giraffes running around and I swam with great white sharks. I haven’t been on a safari in 40 years and I can’t wait to do the Trials now. I’ll try everything and I’ll do my very best.’
Looking back on her first performance, she added: “It changed me a lot.”
‘It made me realize I was missing a lot of things I loved and within a short time of leaving camp I bought a cottage in West Wales.’
‘I love Wales and I love being out at night. I have a converted van and I live a bit of a hippie life! I go paddle boarding all the time now.”
“You get to a point in life where you think everything is a bonus. You can’t say ‘I’ll do that in 20 years’. It made me realize that you have to live in the now.’
The South African spin-off starts on Monday 24 April and will air on weekdays for three weeks. it has been reported.

“We filmed at the end of last year. I didn’t tell anyone what happened. But I can tell you it was cruel.’
It comes after Carol alluded to a fiery clash in the all-stars spin-off.

Speaking to Lorraine on Thursday morning, the star discussed her fellow camp mates and how she fared in the jungle.
When asked about the pre-recorded show, she said quickly, “Janice Dickinson, we don’t talk about her. She’s crazy, completely crazy.’
Carol went on to share her love for fellow campmate Helen, revealing she has a sweet nickname for the ex-Coronation Street star referring to her as ‘my little meerkat’.
She told her, “So Helen Flanagan who I absolutely and totally fell in love with. She’s my little meerkat. I love her.’
Carol then moved onto former boxer Amir Khan, 36, who labeled him “one of the funniest men alive.”
She continued, “Jordan Banjo, he was in Australia with me, I was like his jungle mother and he was my jungle son. Love Jordan.

“And of course, Ashley [Banjo] now we’re presenting the Pride of Britain awards together, I’m actually part of the Banjo family now.
“It was funny and heavy, and a lot of people I knew before… Paul Burrell, Fatima Whitbread – what a woman, what a story.”
In addition to those mentioned, Carol will be joined by Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder, 60, and former England international cricketer Phil Tufnell, 56.
The new series sees the return of some of I’m A Celebrity’s most memorable campmates…Get Me Out Of Here! in the brand new setting of South Africa.
The challenges will be bigger and more difficult and the environment tougher and more unforgiving than the usual Australian jungle.
With no public vote, they will compete against each other in a battle to become the first-ever I’m A Celebrity Legend.
Ant said, “It’s a question we’re always asked… who would you take back to the jungle?
“So to get this chance to make a brand new show in South Africa and put some of our previous camp mates back to the test was the dream.”

Helen reportedly annoyed producers and even staged Ant and Dec by ending numerous challenges without even trying them, causing tension in the camp as the celebs went without food for nearly 10 days.
She said of her return to the show, “I’m not saying I’m going to go in and be a jungle warrior and be absolutely awesome because I’m not.
“Yes, I’ll be scared, but I’m going to try and I’ll be a lot better than last time!”
