Carmen Electra sparks concern after ‘painful’ interview as fans claim the Baywatch star could ‘barely speak’

Carmen Electra has caused a stir among fans after a bizarre podcast interview last week.

The actress, 52, appeared in Dear Media’s The Skinny Confidential with Lauryn Bosstick to celebrate the 35th anniversary of Baywatch, looking less refined than usual.

Some fans called it “hard to watch” and speculated about Carmen’s condition, though one source said her sluggish behaviour was caused by a bout of Covid.

“What is she doing?! Shoutout to Lauryn for keeping this interview going,” one viewer commented.

“She seems so heavily medicated that she can barely get the words out. This was painful to listen to. I can’t imagine sitting there and trying to pretend everything is normal,” wrote another.

A source told DailyMail.com that Carmen’s behaviour was due to an unfortunate bout of Covid – which unfortunately coincided with her press tour for Baywatch.

The Scary Movie star has had a busy few weeks, including an appearance at 90s Con in Los Angeles and promoting the Hulu series After Baywatch.

This isn’t the first time fans have been concerned about Carmen’s behavior.

During an interview on the red carpet with Additional television Last month, countless fans noted that Carmen seemed “strange.”

“I hope she’s okay. I’ve been following her since the Prince era… but something doesn’t seem right. No stones thrown – it could be a funky day – but hopefully she takes care of herself,” one said.
