Carlos Vela ‘considering shock move from LAFC to cross-town rivals LA Galaxy’ on a free transfer after his contract expired

LAFC right winger Carlos Vela could make a move to city rivals LA Galaxy, according to him. IF.
The report states that the Galaxy approached Vela’s entourage while he is currently a free agent.
Vela’s former club Real Sociedad and fellow MLS team NYFC are also said to be interested in signing Vela.
The Mexican forward also recently removed all mentions of LAFC from his Instagram bio, which has only fueled rumors that he is planning to leave the team.
Last month, Vela told reporters: “We will talk and see if I can continue playing here. I would like to stay, but if not, I will look for something else and continue to enjoy the little time I have left playing football.’

MLS Golden Boot winner Denis Bouanga also recently announced his intention to leave the club
Vela spent the past six seasons with LAFC, winning the MLS Cup and a Golden Boot. During those six years, he played 188 games and recorded 93 goals and 54 assists.
The 34-year-old is also known to have a good relationship with new Galaxy general manager Will Kuntz.
Before taking up his position with the Galaxy, Kuntz was also employed by LAFC.
Vela isn’t the only big-name player that LAFC is at risk of heading to greener – or at least different – pastures.
MLS Golden Boot winner Denis Bouanga recently stated that he wanted to make the jump from Major League Soccer to Europe.
“My goal is clear and obvious: I would like to come back and play in France or at a European club,” Bouanga said.
