Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez involved in HUGE high-speed crash at Azerbaijan GP as Ferrari and Red Bull driver collide into the wall one lap from the finish in Baku

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix between Carlos Sainz and Sergio Perez came to a dramatic end just one lap from the end after the pair collided with the wall at high speed.

Sainz, Perez and Charles Leclerc battled for the final two podium places, while McLaren’s Oscar Piastri moved further into the lead.

Leclerc passed the duo and was on course for second place, while Sainz made a daring move on Perez.

However, the two came together when Sainz appeared to turn into Perez, pushing them both into the wall as debris flew in all directions.

Perez’s on-board camera showed the Mexican’s anger at his rival, as he angrily pointed in Sainz’s direction.

“What the f***!” Perez said over the radio.

“Is he crazy?”
