Carl Froch has slammed Anthony Joshua following his devastating defeat to Daniel Dubois on Saturday night.
Joshua suffered the fourth defeat of his career after being knocked out in the fifth round in a breathtaking clash at Wembley that signalled IBF world champion Dubois’ rise to the top.
It was a devastating defeat and the fourth of his career, meaning he missed out on an undisputed world title shot.
“Anthony Joshua was battered from start to finish,” said Froch, who took part in one of the greatest fights in Wembley history.
“He walked out to the ring and he looked nervous. He didn’t look confident. Daniel Dubois was laughing and enjoying it.
Carl Froch has criticised Anthony Joshua after his devastating defeat to Daniel Dubois
‘From the first round Joshua was taking punches, he was on his back leg, he was standing straight, stiff and doing everything wrong.
‘He was pushed around the ring and bullied, Dubois came in as a world champion.
‘He never recovered from those shots. He lacked ambition, he lacked self-confidence and self-belief.
“His recovery is terrible, he looked exhausted. I doubt Anthony Joshua wants to be in that boxing ring any longer.”
