A driver and his female passenger have been found dead at the scene of an accident on a notorious road.
The pair, both in their 30s, were traveling north along the Bruce Highway near Damper Creek in Queensland when their Holden Commodore left the road and overturned sometime overnight.
The exact time of the crash is unknown.
Their car probably hit trees along the side of the highway after overturning.
The emergency services were called to the single-vehicle accident around 6:15 am on Tuesday.
The male driver and female passenger were pronounced dead at the scene.
