Arizona Cardinals star wide receiver DeAndre Hopkins has responded to the ongoing trade rumors surrounding him this offseason in a video he posted to Instagram Monday.

The Hopkins name had been circulating in trade rumors before the season ended and they only intensified in the following months.

“I see everyone telling me to stay,” Hopkins said in a story post with his location tagged as Phoenix, Arizona.

‘Who said I want to go? Who said I wanted to leave? I’m working here honey.’

He also posted footage of himself and San Francisco 49ers WR Deebo Samuel working out with Exos Sports coach Nicholas Hill.

Hopkins himself seemed to capitalize on the trade rumors at one point when he appeared on CBS Sports All things covered podcast.

During the performance, he used his body language and to indicate how interested he would be in being traded to certain teams.

At the time, Hopkins seemed to suggest he was most interested in being traded to the Buffalo Bills or Kansas City Chiefs.

Coincidentally, Bills pass rusher Von Miller stated multiple times that Hopkins wanted to play for Buffalo.

Hopkins would shock any offense no matter what uniform he wore, especially a championship contender like the Bills.

During his career, Hopkins has been named to five Pro Bowls and has recorded 1,000 or more receiving yards in six seasons.

Last season, he caught 64 passes for 717 yards and three touchdowns in nine games after missing part of the season due to suspension after testing positive for PEDs.

If he does stay in Arizona, Hopkins would once again be the No. 1 target in a receiving core that also includes Marquise “Hollywood” Brown and Rondale Moore.

However, it remains to be seen from whom Hopkins and Co. will catch the passes to start this season as quarterback superstar quarterback Kyler Murray is recovering from a torn cruciate ligament and misses the start of the season.
