Cardinals QB Kyler Murray donates $15,000 to GoFundMe page for six-year-old boy who raised $1.6 MILLION after his family was killed in the Texas mall shooting and he was injured

Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray donated $15,000 to a GoFundMe page raising money for a six-year-old boy who lost his family in the Texas mall shooting.

William Cho had just turned six when he was at the mall with his family last weekend.

His mother, father and younger sibling were among the eight killed in the shooting.

When news of the weekend shooting broke, Murray tweeted, “This is sickening. Prayers for the victims of mass shootings in Allen, Texas.

“If there is any way I can help those affected by this tragedy, please let me know. When is this shit going to stop?’

And now Murray has made a big donation for the six-year-old.

The Cardinals also shared a link to the GoFundMe page with their 1.1 million followers on Twitter.

It had a goal of $50,000, but at the time of writing has raised more than $1.6 million from 32,000 donations.

A statement on William’s family’s page says: ‘We are immensely grateful and sincerely appreciate this outpouring of love and prayers from across the country.

William is recovering well. Both Kyu’s and Cindy’s families will use this money to help William carry on his parents’ legacy.”
