St. Louis Cardinals slugger Albert Pujols has made his way into the record books, becoming the fourth player in Major League Baseball history to hit 700 home runs in his career.
He entered tonight’s game against the Los Angeles Dodgers with 698 career homeruns, just past Alex Rodriguez who was the only player to hold 4th place on the all-time list.
Pujols has joined Babe Ruth, Hank Aaron and Barry Bonds as the only players in history to have accomplished this feat. Pujols also becomes the first and only man born outside the United States to achieve this goal.
Albert Pujols is officially the 4th player in MLB history to hit 700 home runs in his career
This is a story in development. More to come.
