Cardi B took command of the stage at the BET Experience in Los Angeles on Friday night.
The I Like It singer, 31, wore a leather black and silver #11 sequin sweater, which she paired with matching black leather micro shorts and Prada boots with rhinestone studs.
The Bongos rapper – who recently showed off one of her rare Hermes handbags – performed a selection of her hit songs, including Press, Money and No Limit, and the crowd loved it.
However, the singer did not do that and confronted the technical crew of the Crypto.com arena halfway through the set about some problems on stage.
“For production, y’all ruining my pyros, the fans gone, y’all ruining my music. Damn, is that what I pay y’all for?” Cardi, 31, said. “What am I paying y’all for? Turn on my f*cking fan, motherfucker. Let’s go.”

Cardi B shared the stage in downtown Los Angeles with Gunna, Davido, Sexyy Red and Jordan Ward.
One person took issue with the Bronx-born rapper’s tirade, venting his displeasure on X (formerly Twitter).
“I understand that people have to support families, but I wish we lived in a better world because no one in the workplace/at all should be treated with respect like this,” the fan wrote.
‘This principle is not exclusive to less glamorous positions. Including celebrities,” they continued.
The tweet was brought to the attention of the WAP singer, who sent back a heated response.
“Girl, stop it… when you do a show, you don’t pay afterwards, you pay in advance,” she wrote.
“I paid $350,000 up front. The least they could do was get my fireworks ready and turn on the fans. Guess what? You don’t get that money back at the end of the day…” the Bodak Yellow hitmaker wrote.
“Don’t do a half-a** on my show because you feel comfortable when I definitely don’t have a half-a** when it comes to pay. Don’t tell me how to talk to someone when you talk the same way about my kids and other deceased parents,” she continued.

Don’t be half-hearted about my show because you’re ready for it, while I’m certainly not half-hearted when it comes to paying. Don’t tell me how to talk to someone when you say the same thing about my children and other dead parents,” she continued.
Cardi went on to explain that even though she was paid to perform at the event, she was still responsible for paying the production team, which includes the dancer, lighting technicians, pyrotechnics team and more.
Don’t play with my money in this economy,” she concluded
Cardi explained that while she was paid to perform at the event, she was still responsible for paying the production team, which included the dancer, lighting technicians, pyrotechnics team and more.
“I spent €100,000 on pyro, but we couldn’t use it because the production team didn’t call in the fire brigade to go over safety measures with my team, even though it’s actually very simple,” she said.
‘I spent days rehearsing to learn choreography so they had the wrong mix and we had to switch it around. I booked four fans so they could be brought in during Bartier Cardi and that never happened…,” she continued.
‘Do you want to know why? Because they couldn’t be bothered to come to rehearsal when hundreds of thousands of dollars were being poured into this show. Don’t play with my money in this economy,” she concluded.
