Cardi B reveals she didn’t think she would marry husband Offset back when they first met: ‘Never would’ve thought’

Cardi B and Offset have been married for six years, but when they first met, she wasn’t so sure they would last.

The WAP singer, 30, sat down for one interview with SiriusXM and revealed she “never thought” she would end up with the Bad and Boujee rapper, 31, when she first heard his Migos track Versace in a club.

Cardi — who just dropped her new single Bongos featuring Megan Thee Stallion — also explained why their differences make them a great fit.

Speaking about the passion in their romance, the Bodak Yellow hitmaker said: “We need that fire.”

“I mean, we’re two different people, like we’re very different from each other, but I think that’s what makes us work.”

“Yin and yang really,” she added. “But we both like one thing: we both love family. That’s one thing and we both love what we do, like we’re both each other’s support system.

“I know he’s behind me 100 percent, and I’m behind him 100 percent. I don’t care,” she explained.

The couple share daughter Kulture, five, and son Wave, two.

But there’s one thing that sometimes kills the vibe for Cardi B: Offset’s Michael Jackson tattoo.

During a performance at New York City’s Hot 97’s Ebro in the morning show, she said, “I really want you to see the Michael Jackson tattoo he got on his stomach. I don’t even want to take it there.

“Because it’s like y’all really need to see it because every time I, you know, it’s just looking at me,” she said as the radio show hosts burst out laughing.

She added, “You have to see that tattoo. Like, I… I’m like – The tattoo is really looking at me like, ‘Yeaaaah.’ … I’m not capping.”

And that’s not all the Bronx native revealed. She also told the hosts that she has at least one dream that she hasn’t fulfilled yet.

Yin and Yang: Cardi said she and rapper Bad and Boujee, 31, were total opposites and plus she really didn’t like his good friend Migos’ Versace song

Opposites attract: “Like, we need that fire,” the Bodak Yellow hitmaker added. “I mean, we’re two different people, like we’re very different from each other, but I think that’s what makes us work.”

She loves being part of a WWE event and while competing would be a dream, she doesn’t think her body can handle it after having two children.

The hosts asked her if she would be part of Wrestle Mania 40 in Philadelphia and she said she wouldn’t act like Bad Bunny, 29, in the ring.

“Yeah, that son of a bitch is jumping off those ropes. He often jumps off the ropes. I just told you my body went haywire after the second (second child).

“I told you the second one confused me. I mean, I’d love to be there. I don’t know what to do. I don’t know whether to act or throw a punch, but I want to go. I have some kind of dream to fulfill. I used to like wrestling. I used to love it,” she said.
