Cardi B has defended pornography after Candace Owens called for it to be banned because it ‘weakens men’
The 31-year-old rapper – born Belcalis Marlenis Cephus – who recently said she won’t vote for Biden or Trump, chimed in after the 35-year-old conservative commentator’s comments.
It all started when Candace recently took to X (formally Twitter) to write, “Ban pornography. It is a psychological weapon intended to weaken our men.’
Cardi B joined the debate and claims that she is not addicted to porn, but sees the benefits of it.
She responded on Instagram: ‘Ommgggg, why are you so against porn? Is it that bad for all of you? I enjoy it, but I don’t know if it’s like six times a year.

Cardi — who was formally a stripper before becoming one of the biggest hip-hop artists in the world — went on to say that she believes sexual and explicit materials can be used as teaching tools.
She continued, “How? It should actually teach men how to please a woman.”
Earlier this month, the superstar rapper revealed she has no plans to vote for President Joe Biden or Donald Trump in the November election, citing “layers and layers of disappointment.”
The rapper has long been an outspoken critic of Trump, but had thrown his support behind Biden during the 2020 election.
She threw her support behind the Democrat after her favorite candidate, Bernie Sanders, lost the primaries.
However, the singer has now withdrawn her support for Biden and revealed she has no plans to vote at all due to her anger over inflation and US support for foreign wars.
“I don’t fuck with either of you,” she told Rolling Stone in an interview, citing Biden’s involvement in foreign conflicts and domestic “disappointments.”

She explained that she does not support Biden’s position on sending money to the war in Ukraine or supporting Israel in its bombing of Gaza.
‘[America] don’t pay for endless wars for countries that have been experiencing such things for a long time,” she said.
‘There are countries [where] Children are murdered every day, but because the [U.S.] will not benefit from that country, they will not help.
“I don’t like America wearing this superhero cape. We never did things to be superheroes. We did things for our own convenience.”
The WAP hitmaker added that sending money to fund wars has taken vital resources away from the US, something she has particularly noticed in her native New York.
“It’s just like, damn, y’all don’t care about nobody. It really makes me angry that there are solutions for this,” she added. ‘There is a solution. I know there’s a solution because you’re spending billions of dollars on all kinds of damn things.”
She added: “I feel like people have been betrayed.”
Cardi has long been politically engaged and has previously encouraged her fans to vote.
In 2020, she was the darling of the Biden campaign and was featured as his interviewer in a Zoom for Elle magazine.

At the start of the back-and-forth with Cardi B, Biden’s then-39-year-old daughter Ashley appeared on screen to tell her she was a fan.
During the conversation, she did not hide her views on then-incumbent Trump.
‘I just want Trump out. His mouth is getting us into so much trouble,” she said angrily.
“I don’t want to be lied to; we are dealing with a pandemic right now and i just want answers. I want to know when this will be over. I want to go back to work.
“I don’t want anyone to lie to me and tell me it’s okay not to wear a mask, that everything will be fine.”
She revealed that her criticism of Trump had earned her death threats from his supporters.
“It’s getting so intense that a Trump supporter posted my address and encouraged people to dox my house and burn my house down,” she explained in an Instagram live video.
“I literally hired a private investigator, gave them a warrant and arrested this kid. This kid was a fucking teenager. His parents were bloody shocked.”

The performer also clapped back at conservative commentator Candace Owens, who claimed she was being “used” by Biden.
“Just like I can make people pop their dicks and have a good time and make them feel like bad b****s, I can also encourage millions of followers to vote,” Cardi said.
“You’re saying that Joe Biden is giving in because he’s using a popular figure like me, but your president, the man you love so much, is also giving in.”
