Cardi B gets a surprise ear piercing while splurging at upscale jewelry shop in LA: ‘I came here for one thing!’
Cardi B treated herself to some bling while in Los Angeles on Monday.
The rapper kept it casual, sporting a short pixie cut and wearing a Harvard sweater, gray biker shorts and sneakers.
Despite her understated look, Cardi dazzled with diamond necklaces and matching earrings as she flashed a bright white smile at the camera.
The 31-year-old wore black sunglasses and a Hermès Birkin bag as she shopped at jewelry store Maria Tash on Melrose.
Cardi also shared with her 167 million Instagram followers that she got a surprise ear piercing while at the luxury store.

And while he walked away satisfied, that wasn’t entirely the Grammy winner’s plan at first.
“I only came here for one thing,” Cardi teased her Instagram story Monday before I turned the camera to the piercer, ‘and look what Harrison did to me. Got me!’
She then showed off her left ear, covered in diamond jewels, before grinning the clip.
Cardi’s jewelry move comes days after she revealed her plans for a third album, even ahead of the release of her highly anticipated second LP.
The superstar posted herself singing along to her collaboration with Peso Pluma, ‘Put Em in the Fridge’, and asked followers if they wanted to see her drop a Spanish album.
After almost 480,000 votes, no fewer than 79 percent of followers agreed with the project idea.
Cardi replied on her Instagram Story the next day, “OK AFTER MY ENGLISH ALBUM.”
However, the Bardi Gang still has a long wait ahead of them.
In May, the mother of two tweeted that she wouldn’t be launching her highly anticipated project anytime soon.

“NO album this year, I don’t care, I’m relaxing this year..” Cardi wrote on X. “I’m dropping these features I was already committed to and traveling and enjoying my summer.”
But in addition to shedding light on the state of her music, she has also opened up about the state of her relationship with Offset.
“I’m thinking about it,” Cardi said Rolling stone in May. ‘We think about it, because we do love each other. It’s not even about love. We are best friends. And it’s like, “Okay. There was a time when I didn’t have a best friend, or I didn’t have a support system.”

The final end of their relationship comes five months after the Bronx native confirmed that she and the Migos rapper had split again.
Cardi added, “It’s not even about ‘How do you leave a partner?’ How do you stop talking to your best friend?’
But the Bodak Yellow rapper also admitted that while she has moved past Offset’s missteps, her career and children came first before her partner.
As Cardi put it, “Sometimes I don’t realize that there are so many things I value more than my relationship.”

But despite their ups and downs, the artist truly cherishes their relationship.
“What I like is that we really like each other, as a support system,” Cardi reflected. “We’re both basically each other’s cheerleaders.”
In fact, the 32-year-old was the first partner Cardi had who lifted her up instead of tearing her down.
“He never made me feel like I was small to him,” she told the outlet. “He actually always said to me, ‘You’re a superstar, just look.’

And as for where the former couple is today, Cardi noted, “We’re doing great now.”
Cardi and Offset — who tied the knot in 2017 — share daughter Kulture, 5, and son Wave, 2, and have been on and off in recent years, most recently splitting for good in 2023.
“I’ve been single for a minute now,” Cardi shared live on Instagram in December, “but I was scared to like – not scared, I just don’t know how to tell the world. The singer noted that these days she is ready for what the future holds.
