Cardi B celebrates Mother’s Day with her mother and children … and receives lavish gifts from her husband Offset: ‘Thanks baby daddy’
Cardi B spared no expense over the weekend as she celebrated Mother’s Day with her two children and beloved mother in New York City.
The 30-year-old rap superstar — who showed off her voluptuous curves at an early Mother’s Day brunch — documented her special day on Instagram by posting several photos and snippets to her story.
Cardi spent some quality time with her two kids in Cipriani Downtown before receiving a windfall of lavish gifts from husband Offset.
Secretly married in 2017, the happy couple share two children — daughter Kulture, four, and son Wave, one — in addition to Offset’s three children from previous relationships.
But before the WAP hitmaker was showered with designer handbags and flowers, she received a very heartwarming gift from her mother Clara, a retired cashier originally from Trinidad.

“Awwwwww mom,” Cardi wrote, captioning snaps of her mom’s custom gift: two crystal hearts showing the Grammy winner holding her kids.
Cardi B gushed about the gift in her Instagram video, describing the hearts as “so beautiful” and “so thoughtful” and stating, “I love them more than any brand name I could ever receive.”
But name brands soon came in a major way when the Bodak Yellow artist opened up a pair of luxury black gift bags from A-list boutique What Goes Around Comes Around.
“Okay,” she says in her video clip, “my baby daddy gave me this. Always leave on time. Have a look…’
Opening her presents from Offset, Cardi found a pair of quilted lambskin Chanel handbags that cost more than $6K each, according to the website for What goes around comes around.
“Thanks, Dad!” proclaimed the I Like It singer, adding that she “never gets tired of getting new purses,” even though she’s “too expensive.”
But there was another surprise in store for Cardi when her rapper filled the beau foyer of their lavish home with nine giant bouquets of red roses.
The Up singer was giddy with delight as she videotaped the breathtaking display and repeatedly thanked Offset.

The couple’s relationship hasn’t always been smooth sailing, as they briefly split in 2018 after videos surfaced of Offset appearing to be in bed with other women.
Cardi had recently given birth to their daughter Kulture and she referenced it in a candid Instagram video announcing their breakup: “It’s nobody’s fault. I think we grew out of love, but we are not together anymore.
“I don’t know, it may take a while to get a divorce and I will always love him very much because he is my daughter’s father.”
But two months later, the rappers had reconciled and soon welcomed their son Wave into the world.
