After quitting drinking in 2022, the supermodel, who recently launched a non-alcoholic wine, initially revealed that she would feel better in the morning after stepping out and avoiding the booze.

To her surprise, the next day she developed a “terrible” headache as a result of drinking sugar-laden soft drinks.

‘Almost two years ago, when I got sober, I thought, “I’m probably not going out that much, my life is probably going to change.” And to be honest, I was going out a lot more than before – which is great, apart from the fact that when you go out you drink a hell of a lot of sugar,” she explained. The sun.

But after her nights of sober partying, she said she would wake up in the morning with a terrible headache.”

‘I am sober to be healthy and happy. Instead, I feel left in pain,” the Paper Towns actress noted.

Cara eventually decided to create a non-alcoholic wine brand to alleviate the headaches by creating something “beautiful tasting, good quality, but low in sugar and low in calories.”

‘I just like having something in my hand. For me, it was never about the alcohol,” she said. ‘Whether it’s a wedding or someone has broken up with you, you get back together over a drink.’

Delevingne concluded, “It’s not about being sober, it’s about being yourself. If I want to go out and have fun, I want to celebrate.”

In 2023, Cara told Vogue how she checked herself into rehab after images published by DailyMail.com in 2022 gave her a wake-up call.

The model said she finally reflected on her mental health after worrying about a series of troubled public appearances.

She told Vogue that she previously wasn’t ready to address her demons until she found herself in a “bad situation”: “I had some kind of interventions, but I wasn’t ready for it.” That is the problem.

‘I hadn’t seen a therapist in three years. I just pushed everyone away, which made me realize how much of a bad place I was.

‘I always thought that work has to be done in bad times, but actually work has to be done in good times.

‘The work must be done consistently. It will never be resolved or completely healed, but that’s fine with me, and that’s the difference…previously I was always into the quick fix of healing, like going to a week long retreat or a trauma course, and that helped for a minute, but it never really got to the heart of the matter, the deeper stuff.’
