In a now-deleted message, she had written next to a photo of the two animals: ‘My heart is broken today. I can not believe it. Life can change in the blink of an eye. So cherish what you have.’

Around noon local time, one of her cats looked visibly distressed but was safely wrapped in a blanket and carried by a man.

He was spotted carefully putting Delevingne’s pet into a car and being taken away from the scene.

The fire started sometime in the early hours of Friday morning and caused extensive damage to the property and caused its roof to collapse, as seen in aerial photographs.

Firefighters rushed to the scene after a 911 call was received around 3:57 a.m. PST, according to TMZ.

It was reported that a total of 94 firefighters showed up to battle the blaze, arriving in 13 different engines.

It is believed the fire started in a back room of the sprawling property, but it is currently unknown how the fire started.
