Two men in upstate New York crashed a Jeep into a school bus carrying 17 children after allegedly stealing a woman’s car at knifepoint.
The video shows the Jeep crashing at full speed into the front of the school bus and two fleeing passengers on foot; both were arrested and police said they were Adeosun Hughes, 23, and Maliq McCullough, 20.
The red Jeep was stolen from a 51-year-old woman around 4:00 p.m. on March 15, according to Rochester police. They said she was injured when the suspect grabbed a necklace and lanyard from her neck.
The car was seen by police an hour later and a brief chase ensued, ending in the collision. None of the children or the bus driver were injured.

The red Jeep was stolen from a woman at knifepoint around 4 pm on March 15, about 3 miles from where she finally crashed into the bus.
Police say the woman was leaving a school on Costar Street in Rochester around 4 p.m. and as she was loading things into her Jeep, a man approached her with a knife.
His car was reported stolen and police saw the vehicle less than an hour later. When ordered to stop, the driver of the Jeep backed into the front bumper of a Rochester police cruiser before driving away.
“The vehicle took off at that time,” Rochester Police Capt. Adam Radens said. News10NBC. ‘The officers pursued the vehicle. At one point, the vehicle was heading in the opposite direction of Roycroft and was approaching the intersection of Roycroft and Carter.
Police chased the car the wrong way down the one-way residential street until at the intersection it was filmed by a passerby crashing into the front of the school bus.
“At that very moment, a northbound bus, a school bus, was attempting to cross that intersection when the stolen vehicle slammed into the front,” Radens added.
Raymond Gonzalez, who recorded the video, said he was leaving a corner store when he heard police sirens and saw the chase.
In the video, the two men in the Jeep could be seen fleeing on foot as officers yelled at them to get on the ground. The two ran in opposite directions but were both stopped.
McCullough was charged with first degree robbery, second degree assault and third and fourth degree larceny. Hughes has been charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle.
One of the two men in the car was recorded running from the scene of the accident when police ordered him to the ground. Both were eventually arrested.
The two men ran in opposite directions, but were eventually both arrested by Rochester police.
The students on the bus attended Rochester Prep Charter School.
“Fortunately, the driver and all students were uninjured as a result of the accident,” the Rochester Police Department said in a statement.
“The city school district was informed of the accident and arranged for each student to be transported home,” it added.
According to News10, it was the second carjacking reported on school property this year.
Adam Urbanski, director of the Rochester Teachers Association, told the channel: “If you can’t feel safe in a school parking lot, chances are you won’t feel safe at school, and if teachers don’t feel safe, you can bet.” that the children are not safe either.
