Car surfing madness in Melbourne: Moment a child was spotted riding on the windscreen of a car in shocking display of recklessness

Horrifying footage has emerged of a young boy riding on top of a moving car in front of shocked bystanders in Melbourne

The video shows the boy clinging to the windscreen as a woman drives through the streets of Pakenham in the south-east of the city.

The boy even endures the shock of crossing a speed bump before climbing back into the car via the sunroof.

Another motorist, captured in the video, took it upon himself to block the car and confront the female driver.

“What if you run him over, do you think that’s smart?” the woman was cooking

“If it falls off and gets under those wheels, it’s dead, buddy.”

Victoria Police are investigating the incident.
