A 10-year-old boy is fighting for his life after a four-wheel drive rollover on a major highway in South Australia.
Four passengers, including a 35-year-old male driver and three children under the age of 10, were traveling on the Tod Highway on the Eyre Peninsula, near Murdinga, when the vehicle rolled at around 5pm on Friday.
The 10-year-old boy was airlifted to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital in Adelaide after suffering serious injuries.
An eight-year-old boy and a six-year-old girl were also flown to an Adelaide hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
The driver, a Port Lincoln man, suffered minor injuries in the crash.

The highway remained closed in both directions for hours but was reopened around 9pm last night.
In the first 24 days of 2024, there have been 37 crashes on South Australian roads, resulting in 42 serious injuries.
State data shows there have already been three fatal crashes this year.
In 2023, the state recorded 117 deaths from 109 fatal accidents and 856 serious injuries from 739 incidents.
Police have urged anyone who witnessed the incident to contact Crime Stoppers.
